Needed a break from making logos. Started a little sketch of Mercy from Overwatch.

Started and finished reading the manga 'I am hero' by Kengo Hanazawa. Best zombie manga I've read so far!

Been out of my comfort zone creating icons and themes for an app for a friend.
Some of the ideas were rejected in the end as the color scheme was quite dull.

Experimenting with spine all over again. 

Looking back at some of my work, I'm embarrassed to admit.. The proportions on my characters are awful. Back to life drawings I go to fix them back up!
I used references I found online for now. It won't beat a real life model but it'll have to do for now.

Completed the test. Most probably have to come up with a better soul design but was happy with the after effect experiment!

Quick test of scene 01 shot 01

First scene of project 'Traces'. Will be experimenting with after effects and some other techniques I can muster up.
Here's a short animatic of the first few shots.  Sound I recorded was terrible but will have to do for this early stage.

Uploaded a new showreel today. I really want to make more animations to further improve it!

Re work: Back in college I created a short animation based on the theme 'Traces'. There were many flaws with it but had an interesting concept;

character searches through an abstract world looking for memory pieces to bring him back home.

For an up coming project, I decided to rework this character and develop the story with a greater purpose.

Back practicing with quil and ink

Finally uploaded my little animated project up. There's so much that needed to be fixed but it has been such a great learning curve.
Might create another and aim to make it much more neater in terms of line work. Also attempt to aim for better quality animations.
This project was rushed but I can't believe I managed to complete it in 2 weeks!

Was contemplating whether or not if I should create a Forest Byrnnes animation after this short project. Decided to add a little introduction for him at the end of the clip for now.

I found this useful animation tutorial of a skip. Currently I don't need it but the animation itself is so beautifully done!

All 3 scenes completed (Exception of last background which is incomplete)! There's alot I'm not happy with. Decided to go back to fix them rather than go for another scene.

At least once per day I lose half an hour of work because my program crashes on me! I scream, I cry and remember to save for the next session ..Then repeat the same mistake the next morning.

Quick update; Nearly finished with the 3rd scene. I feel I might need to cut out the 4th scene as I do believe  monologues are abit dry to animate. With the spare time left I could go back to my previous scenes and vamp them up a little more also! Will have a final decision once I've completed the 3rd scene completely!
