In the past 2 weeks, I was lucky enough to be involved in designing and decorating a friends wedding (Asian wedding events: both Mehndi and Nikah)
Both me and Shanii's sister Annie were in charge of creating ideas and finding the material to decorate a stage.

Since my uni days, I've always hated 1 minute sketches; I always preferred longer time to sit and apply details to my drawings.

Quick sketches are always a good idea to help train you to find a characters line of action within a gesture.
From here on I shall dive back into 2 minute gesture drawings to fish out the skills I've always ignored to pick up.

As I was brainstorming ideas for a romantic stoyline for  Ryu + Kaori. I came across this post on  upwork.
A client looking for an illustrator for a visual novel. Brings back so many memories of all the great titles I've played.

Manga test

Today I decided to study up on the program manga studio. Also quickly brushing up on frame by frame animation.

Tried approaching animation in a different manner today. Animating for a furniture instruction video. Was great fun!
